The large lens also helps to minimize parallax errors, ensuring accuracy at different distances.
2. 2 MOA Red Dot: The 2 MOA (Minute of Angle) red dot reticle is crisp and clear, allowing for precise aiming. This dot size strikes a perfect balance between precision shooting at longer distances and rapid acquisition at close range, making it an excellent choice for a variety of shooting applications.
3. Adjustable Brightness Settings: The HOLOSUN 407 features 10 daytime brightness settings and 2 night vision settings, allowing users to customize the brightness of the reticle based on ambient light conditions. This adaptability is crucial for ensuring visibility in varying environmental conditions, whether you’re shooting in broad daylight or low-light environments.
4. Solar Failsafe Technology: One of the standout features of the HOLOSUN 407 is its solar failsafe technology. This innovative system harnesses ambient light to power the optic, prolonging battery life and ensuring the sight remains operational even in the event of battery depletion. This feature is especially beneficial for outdoor shooting, where natural light is plentiful.
5. Shake Awake Technology: The Shake Awake feature automatically turns the sight on when it detects movement, and it powers off after a period of inactivity. This ensures that the optic is ready to go whenever you are, conserving battery life without compromising performance.
6. Durable Construction: The HOLOSUN 407 is built with durability in mind. Its aluminum housing is designed to withstand heavy recoil and harsh environmental conditions. The sight is also IP67 rated for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for use in rain, mud, and other challenging environments.
7. Easy Mounting: The included mounting options make it simple to attach the HOLOSUN 407 to various platforms, including handguns and rifles. The low-profile design ensures that it won’t interfere with the operation of your firearm, while still providing a secure mounting solution.
